Signature algorithm

What it means

The hash + public-key algorithm the issuer used to sign this certificate, e.g. SHA-256 with RSA or ECDSA with SHA-256.

Why it matters

Old algorithms (MD5, SHA-1) are forgeable and rejected by modern clients. If you see SHA-1 here on a certificate issued this decade, something is wrong with the issuing setup.
